NEW CLIENTS

Our newest clients will be reaping the benefits of our latest work, a client control center, which will allow them to view their current projects, see the number of hours worked so far, provide feedback about the project, and make payments.

Also, a warm welcome to our newest client, Maid of Honour, Bridal Consultant Extrordinaire :)

Pennyword.com

This site, for a proofreading and editing business, featured integration with a shopping cart with payment processing by Paypal.

Additional features included a custom-coded uploader, which sends an e-mail to the owner of the site, which contains a dynamic link directly to the newly-uploaded file. This allows the owner of the site to have access to all files without having to access the server through FTP.

Lyricist Review

I was contacted to design this site for an author who is publicizing his latest academic book.

Inspired Gift.com

This site was a labor of love for my own family. I will hopefully be expanding it for use by others at some point in the near future as well. Each year, my family has submitted Christmas and Birthday "wish lists" to a member of the family that was then entrusted to manage the lists to cut down on duplicate and unsuitable purchases. Making an online application where each person could manage their own lists and where updates and additions were immediately update for viewing by others in various locations across the state seemed to be the way to go.

PTK2

I was asked to create a new site to house The Bugle. This publication is the newsletter for the Beta Gamma Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa; the international honor society for Two-year colleges. This site design incorporates standardized navigation, as well as a custom-programmed content-management system for ease of updating by members who contribute to the newsletter.

The Zone

(a service project donated on behalf of the Beta Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society of Two-year colleges)
Sheila was a dream to work with. She was breast cancer survivor, and a mammographer, who opened her heart and her doors to other women dealing with breast cancer. She wrote a book detailing her journey through the ups and downs of breast cancer. She opened a Wig Room, which provides wigs to breast cancer patients free of charge. She needed a site to promote her wig room, allow people to send donations, give users the opportunity to order copies of her book, and give more information about her largest fund-raiser each year; her afternoon Tea.

Sheila really wanted the site to use the vibrant pink color that was used on her book, the sign of breast cancer support. We certainly used lots of pink, as well as incorporating her current book logo.

Sadly, Sheila lost her battle with cancer on July 10, 2003; however I believe that her organization is going to continue to provide wigs and support to others fighting the disease.

Comfy Bummy

Mary was great to work with. I had created her logo several years ago, and she contacted me about creating some new navigational elements. We ended up reworking the site to add a new side bar element for 'teasers' or additional information on the right side, an easily-updateable navigational bar on the left and at the bottom, and combined other page elements for a more cohesive overall. I provided Mary with some consultation time, and she is now able to update the site herself, while retaining the common elements throughout the site through the use of a style sheet.

Attachment Parenting International

This project is a sub-site for Attachment Parenting International. They contacted me about creating a new section for the site that would incorporate a survey, which uses ASP to write to a text file, a new layout, new navigation, and a clean, new look. We used server-side includes on each page to make the site easier to update, and cleaned up the old graphics.

Storybook Endings.com 1999-2000

This was the premiere version of our Storybook Endings.com site. The soft colors, hand-drawn elements, and mascot mousie all contributed to the distinctive look of the site. The design was further enhanced by easy navigation, javascript rollovers and judicious use of a javascript cursor trail.

Storybook Endings.com 2000-2001

This Design for Storybook Endings.com, used soft colors, and minimal graphics for fast-loading pages.

Wiggles 'n Giggles.com

This baby products site includes a jump menu for easier navigation, forms for easy contact, and a shopping cart. This site is no longer in use, as the business was closed.
